The gorgeous state flower has been popping up all over lately, and everyone is looking for good photo-snapping locations with bluebonnets. Luckily, you don’t have to stop on the side of the highway when you spot a patch. There are more than a few prime locations, so be sure to visit before the season is over!

George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum - Dallas

Surprisingly, the Presidential Center offers a beautiful space covered in pretty wildflowers. You can even schedule a tour (for free) and walk a network of trails through the scenery. These tours do fill up, so be sure to schedule ahead of time.

Woodbridge - Wylie/Sachse

If you look right off of 78, there is a spacious field full of the vivid blue flowers. You won’t have to fight for space in this location, and the number of flowers is breathtaking.

Zion Cemetery - Little Elm/Frisco

This is such a gorgeous location for a photo shoot. Lay down amongst the flowers or bring your own props. You won’t want to miss stopping by this land during the spring months.

McInnish Sports Complex - Carrollton

Although you wouldn’t think so, this patch of land hosts such a pretty spread of the blue wildflowers during the spring months. There is even a fence you can use as a prop!

Fujitsu Field - Richardson

So. Many. Bluebonnets. Seriously, head to the corner of Shiloh and Research Road if you get the chance!

Cedar Hill State Park - Cedar Hill

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle for your photos, this is an awesome location. There are open roads, fences, barns, and other backdrops that will make your pictures stand out.

JCPenney Corporate Headquarters - Plano

I know this sounds weird, but this location really does have pretty bluebonnets! Look for the field right off Legacy Drive in Plano for some great scenery.

Bluebonnet Trails - Ennis

Okay, this is hands-down the most amazing place. There are 40 miles of trails, all of which showcase the beautiful fields of bluebonnets. Head over to the “Official Texas Bluebonnet City of Texas” before the month ends.

Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center - Denton

Not only is Clear Creek a cool place to visit in general, but it's also home to a pretty display of the flowers at this time of year. While you’re there, you might as well check out the family-friendly hiking they offer. Admission is free!

Trinity River Audubon Center - Dallas

Although this nature center is only ten minutes from downtown Dallas, you’ll feel like you’ve really taken a step outside of the busy city. There is an admission fee, but the hike to see the Texas bluebonnets on the cliffs overlooking the river is worth it.  

Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park - Mansfield

This park hosts a ton of fun activities, from nature classes to kayaking trips. Their wildflower area during this time of year is full of Indian blanket, bluebonnets, lemon mint, and more.

Samuell Farm North Park - Sunnyvale

If you're in the Sunnyvale area, look no further for the perfect photo shoot location. With bluebonnets at your feet and full green trees in the background, every photo will be stunning.
