Whole Foods Market is so excited to celebrate its first birthday in Highland Village that the party will last four days.

Store Team Leader Scott Wilcox wants to invite friends and neighbors to start the celebration Thursday, September 10th at 11am with a performance by the Lake Lewisville Symphony, followed by the cutting of a giant birthday cake at noon.  Free samples from some favorite vendors will be featured each day through Sunday.

It's Retro Friday, with a free Ice Cream Social from 4-6pm, and great tunes being spun during Vinyl Night in the bar from 6-8pm.

Saturday, catch the Flower Mound High School Marching Band March-a-Thon.  Free fun for kids all day, with Story Time from 10-11am, Face Painting from noon-2pm and Popsicles on the Patio from 5-7pm for kids of all ages.

There will be grilling on the patio on Saturday and Sunday from noon-5pm.

On Sunday, think football!  It's the Dip Bowl from noon-3pm: go around the store as Whole Foods Market has its own inter-departmental competition of tasty dips.  Then "Get Into The Game" in the bar from 6-10pm to wrap up the birthday festivities.
